Why Join?

Reading is a great way to improve knowledge, connect people, expand the imagination, and to simply escape!

The crux of the Shelf Interest Book Club is to create community, decolonise the imagination and to support authors from the African Diaspora (African, African-American, Black-British and Caribbean backgrounds).

We will focus on fiction & non-fiction books from different genres and review books online on a monthly basis. Every 2 months we will have an in-person social event!

We'll use your opinions to offer in-depth reviews with culturally appropriate nuance, and to inform decisions on future books!

Gold and Silver members will have the convenience of their books being delivered to their door! Gold members will also get a free gift, get free tickets to book club social events.

Standard members will get to join our exclusive online meetings and get priority invitation to our social events and a link to where they can purchase the book from.

*Books are dispatched on the 5th of each month so memberships purchased after the 5th will begin the following month.
